Municipality of Mangulile
Mangulile is a municipality in the Department of Olancho of Honduras.
The name Mangulile means «Five Waters.» It was granted the status of Municipality in 1882, and in the 1889 Territorial Political Division, it was part of the Salamá District.
Location
The municipality borders Olanchito and Arenal to the north, Yocón to the south, La Unión to the east, and Yoro and Marale to the west. The municipal seat is located on the right bank of the Mangulile River, also known as Yaguala and Mirajoco.
