Municipality of Brus Laguna

It is a municipality in the department of Gracias a Dios, in the Republic of Honduras.

For some time, it was under British possession, which is why it was named Brus Laguna. It was founded in 1811 and became a municipality on August 5, 1957, with the creation of the department of Gracias a Dios.

It is located on the shore of the lagoon that bears its name in the department of Gracias a Dios.
