Municipality of Sabá
The municipality of Sabá belongs to the Colón department.
In the 1887 population census, it was a village of Sonaguera. On May 25, 1964, it was elevated to the municipality category through Executive Agreement Number 918, signed by the head of state General Oswaldo López Arellano, with lawyer Mario Rivera López as the Minister of Governance. This agreement created the municipality of Sabá.
