Municipality of San Isidro de Choluteca
It is a municipality of the Department of Choluteca, in the Republic of Honduras.
It was a village of Pespire known as San Antonio de Caulote, dating back to June 12, 1723. It is believed that it was granted municipality status in 1876 when Marco Aurelio Soto assumed the presidency.

Cultivation of sugarcane, coffee, avocado, plantain, potato, citrus fruits, and basic grains; raising of horses, cattle, and goats; poultry farming and rabbit farming; industries: pottery, mezcal articles, carpentry, and blacksmithing.

Location
It is located north of the department, with its center located south of the Pespire River.

- West: Municipality of San Antonio de Flores.
