How to prepare Pot Soup
The soup de olla is made with beef, in combination with a variety of vegetables, a recipe that is part of Honduran cuisine.
Ingredients
- 3 kilos of beef rib
- 3 kilos of beef cut
- 2 legs
- 1 kilo of cassava
- 1 kilo of squash
- 1 kilo of potatoes
- 1 sweet potato
- 1 cabbage
- 1 large green chili
- 2 small tomatoes
- 1 ripe banana
- Coriander to taste
- Achiote spices to taste if you wish
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Sew the rib with the tender meat in advance for two hours, add salt to taste, spices, chili, onion, tomato.
- When the rib is tender, add the vegetables and accompany it with white rice.

- If you have some of this soup left over, save it for another day, it is good to eat it the next day.
