The Technical Deputy Director of the INM, Carlos Cordero, said that this new center will strengthen the production of passports in the United States. «Here several consulates will be printed, so this production center is being reinforced,» the official explained. Honduran passport printing centers are located in the cities of Atlanta, Miami, New York, Dallas and Washington DC

«Together with Ambassador Rafael Sierra and Consul Allan Agurcia, we installed this new production center that strengthens the issuance of passports specifically for consulates that do not have direct printing,» added Deputy Director Cordero.

This new printing center consists of two lines that go with your printer, laminator and with the respective devices for reviewing the security of the document. It should be noted that the maintenance of the passport printing centers in the United States corresponds to the INM and the capture, printing and attention of the citizen, to the network of consulates of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

INM authorities reiterate to the general population that the restrictions in the Covid-19 pandemic continue, so you have to attend the passport process without companions. In special cases such as procedures for minors and adults with special abilities, companions are allowed.
