Trifinio Montecristo National Park
The Montecristo hill is the point of reference to the border line between the Republics of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, which is why it is also known as Trifinio National Park and is considered as such by the three neighboring countries in a gesture of brotherhood and of peace.
The highest peak of this mountain reaches 2419 m and in the national territory its untouchable area above 1800 mm, is greater than 20 km, one of the faces of its polygonal is fixed by the Honduro-Salvadoran border line.
