Biography of Francisco Bográn



He was born in Pinalejo, Santa Bárbara, died in New Orleans (1926). The brother of General Luis Bográn and cousin of Miguel Paz Barahona. He studied Medicine in Guatemala.

Deputy to the National Congress; appointed Vice President of the Republic in the 1911 elections, he declined the position. In his capacity as Second Designate, he served as the Presidency of Honduras from October 5, 1919 to February 1, 1920.

He had to finish the period for which Francisco Bertrand had been elected, exercising the title of the executive, receiving the command of the Council of Ministers chaired by the Minister of the Interior, Vicente Mejía Colindres.
