Municipality of Fraternidad
Fraternidad is a municipality in the Ocotepeque Department in Honduras.
It was a village of La Labor, and on March 15, 1909, it was granted municipality status after relocating the Municipal headquarters from Dolores Merendón on February 19, 1909.
Location
The municipality borders La Encarnación and San Jorge to the north, La Labor and Sinuapa to the south, Lucerna to the east, and San Jorge and Dolores Merendón to the west. It is located in a mountainous area to the east of the El Merendón Mountain Range.
