Traditional Games Festival

On April 31, 2006, the VII Traditional Games Festival was held in the town of San Marcos, Santa Bárbara. In this edition, the objective was to give a special tribute to the young Gaby Flores for her outstanding international participation, remembering her from Código F.A.M.A., and also to the journalist Neida Sandoval for her career in Hispanic television in the United States of America. In 2009, Jorge Alejandro Flores, younger brother of Gaby Flores, composed the official theme for the traditional games.

The main objective of creating the festival is to rescue the games and remind parents that these activities are recreational and allow them to spend more time with their children, sharing emotions throughout the generations.

This festival is a tradition in San Marcos, as it is celebrated every year and people from other countries come to share a weekend in this wonderful municipality.
