Municipality of Gualala
Gualala is a municipality in the department of Santa Bárbara in Honduras.
The town was initially named «Gualatan» and then «Gualalatepequez», which in the Mexican language means «Abundance of Good Lands».
Location
The municipality borders to the north with the municipality of ILama, to the south with the municipality of Santa Bárbara, to the east with the municipality of San José de Colinas and to the west with the municipality of ILama.
