Municipality of Ahuas
It is a municipality in the department of Gracias a Dios, in the Republic of Honduras.
It is a Misquito settlement in the former Taguzgalpa in the Honduran Mosquitia, mostly inhabited by zambos. It was created and elevated to the municipal status in 1996, during the government of Dr. Carlos Roberto Reina.

Located in the northwest of the municipality, very close to Lake Tibalacán.
