Municipality of Potrerillos El Paraiso
It is a municipality in the Department of El Paraíso, in the Republic of Honduras.
It emerged as a mining center with little boom. According to the population count of 1801, under the jurisdiction of the parish of Danlí, it was recorded as a mineral in the region. It was given municipality status on April 3, 1900, during the presidency of Terencio Sierra, but it was officially inaugurated as such on September 15 of that year.

Origin of its name: Its name is a diminutive form of «potrero» (pasture).

Cultivation of basic grains and vegetables; breeding of cattle, horses, and pigs; poultry farming.

- Education: 14 primary schools, 2 pre-basic education centers, 3 basic education centers, and 7 kindergartens.
- Communication network: Paved and secondary roads to the municipal seat, telephone services from Hondutel, and mobile phone coverage.
Location
It is surrounded by a series of hills and is watered by the Azul River and the Grande or Choluteca River. Its municipal seat is located near the El Robledal and Las Delicias ravines.

- East: municipality of Jacaleapa;
