Requirements and Consular Fee for Honduran Passports
The Undersecretariat of Consular and Migratory Affairs has established the following rates in consular services, with the respective requirements, for citizens who request a Honduran passport for 5 or 10 years.
Note: Minors under 21 years of age can only apply for a 5-year passport.

Requirements:
- Valid Honduran identity card.
- If you are a woman and you want the married name to appear in your Passport, you will present the original Marriage Certificate.
- If the application for your passport is due to the fact that it was stolen, damaged or lost, you must file the complaint filed with the Police where the event occurred or, failing that, make an Affidavit at the Consular Office where you will process your Passport. (The Affidavit has a value of US $ 50.00).
- If you want your Passport to be sent to your home, under your responsibility, it must have a stamp of US $ 6.45.

Requirements for not carrying a valid identity card, but if it was processed in Honduras, it must be presented.
- Original digital birth certificate.
- At least one document from Honduras that has your photograph, such as:
- Driver’s license.
- Card of the Honduran Social Security Institute.
- Official documents issued by the State in which you reside and may be: residence card or TPS if you reside in the United States of America.
Requirements for not carrying a valid identity card, but if it was processed in Honduras, it must be presented. –
For never having processed the valid identity card in Honduras; – For being of legal age and that he left Honduras as a minor and that he never processed a valid identity card and that he has documents with a photograph of Honduras and;
Because you are of legal age and have lived abroad for many years and state that you do not have supporting documents but if you have relatives in Honduras, you must submit:
- Original digital birth certificate.
- At least one document from Honduras that has your photograph, such as:
- Driver’s license.
- Card of the Honduran Social Security Institute.
- Official documents issued by the State in which you reside and may be: residence card or TPS if you reside in the United States of America.
- Copy of the identity card of your father or mother.
- Affidavit of your parents or, failing that, of a relative of the second to fourth degree of consanguinity, issued by a Notary in Honduras or by one of our Consular Offices. The Affidavit must include a photograph of the applicant and that document must state that the image corresponds to the citizen requesting the passport.
If the applicant is under 21 years of age, they must submit:
- Original digital birth certificate. In the case of Minors, present an identity card.
- Present with the parents duly documented. If one or both parents are not present, the absent father and / or mother must present an original Authorization issued by a Notary in Honduras or from a Honduran Consular Office closest to where the absent father or mother is, in which Indicate the name of the person who authorizes your representation for the minor.
- Copy of the identity cards or passports of the parents or of the person authorized to carry out the procedure.
- In the event that one of the parents has died, the interested party must present an original copy of the Death Certificate issued by the respective authority. Whoever has parental authority of the minor must present the original resolution issued by the Family Court of First Instance in Honduras.
