April 30 – Honduran Lawyer’s Day

The Lawyer’s Day was instituted in Honduras on December 19, 1942 by Esteban Guardiola, then president of the Society of Lawyers of Honduras.

The initiative, promoted by Guardiola, aimed “for all colleagues to especially remember on that date the rights and duties that the exercise of the profession entails,” states an agreement of that date.

Every April 30th, it represents a commemorative day dedicated to all those who dedicate themselves to this honorable profession, which strives to defend the rights of the entire population.
