Municipality of Naranjito

Naranjito is a municipality in the department of Santa Bárbara in Honduras.

Coffee is grown here, along with some crops of corn and beans. There is also livestock and dairy production. Notable in this town is a Catholic church facing the central park, which was built almost 200 years ago. In the vicinity of the town in a small village of the municipality, there is a place that stands out for its hot springs.

Location

The municipality borders to the north with the municipality of Protección, to the south with the municipality of Lepaera, to the east with the municipalities of Atima and San Luis, and to the west with the municipalities of San Nicolás, Trinidad de Copán and San José.
