Municipality of Santa Fe
The municipality of Santa Fe belongs to the department of Colon.
The settlement of Santa Fe began in 1799 with settlers from the Río Negro neighborhood in Trujillo. Those who were looking for suitable land for agricultural work formed the settlement of David, later known as Guadalupe, and now Santa Fe or Punta Hisopos. In 1881, when the Colón department was created, it was already established as a municipality within the Trujillo region.

Location
