Location
The municipality borders the municipalities of Curaren and La Libertad to the north, Nacaome to the south, La Libertad to the east, and Langue to the west.
Historical Data
The municipality of San Francisco de Coray is located on a plateau on the banks of the river that bears its name. It was created during the administration of General José María Medina in 1867.
